Self Portrait Painting

     For this self-portrait painting, I wanted it resemble what I actually look like as much as possible. I used local color and was very detailed when deciding which colors would blend the best with the section beside it. The use of different brushes was very important, especially when it came to the hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes. I also wanted to create a fun background that had a little bit of dimension to it so I chose this multi colored one, and it also creates a shadow.
